Furnished bedroom
Shared room with your own bed, linens, dresser, and lockable storage for personal items.
Full kitchen
Residents shop and cook for themselves. Shared staples, coffee, and cleaning supplies are provided.
Utilities and Wi-Fi
Electricity, gas, water, trash, and internet are covered in the monthly program fee.
Laundry on site
Washer and dryer in the house, on a posted schedule so everyone gets a turn.
Common areas
Living room, dining table, and outdoor space for meetings, meals, and downtime.
House manager
A live-in manager handles day-to-day operations, testing, conflicts, and questions.
The standards, in plain language
Every item below is covered in the resident handbook and reviewed with you before move-in.
Sobriety and testing
No alcohol, no non-prescribed substances, and nothing on the property that supports use. Testing is random, observed, and can also be requested for cause. A positive test or a refusal to test ends residency.
Prescription medication
Residents self-administer their own medication. Prescriptions are kept in secured storage and released to the resident on a set schedule. Staff do not administer medication, observe self-administration, or provide any clinical oversight. Residents receiving medications for opioid use disorder — methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone — are welcome, and access to those prescriptions is never interrupted. Confirm final wording with counsel; see note 1 in the README.
Curfew and sign-in
Curfew is set by phase and is the same every night — there is no later weekend curfew. Phase 1 is 9:00–11:00 PM, Phase 2 is 11:00 PM, Phase 3 is midnight. A written exception is available for an approved work schedule that falls outside curfew. Residents sign in and out, and overnight passes are approved in advance.
Vehicles
New residents may not keep or operate a personal vehicle during their first 30 days. Written exceptions are granted for verified employment, a confirmed job offer, school enrollment, or a documented medical or legal obligation. One vehicle per resident, and any vehicle on or around the property is subject to search.
Cannabis, smoking, and vaping
Cannabis and THC products are prohibited in any form, including products that are legal to buy in California, and no paraphernalia of any kind is permitted on the property. Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated outdoor areas — never indoors.
Meetings and program
Verified outside recovery meetings each week and one mandatory house meeting. After a short settling-in period, every resident works, attends school, or volunteers on a regular schedule. Residents choose their own program of recovery and their own providers.
Safety
Naloxone is kept on site and staff are trained to use it. An overdose amnesty policy means residents can call for help during an emergency without fear of being discharged for making the call. Fire and infection-control procedures are posted in the house.
Chores and upkeep
Assigned weekly chores, rotating. Common areas stay clean, dishes get done, and rooms pass a weekly walkthrough.
Guests and visitors
Approved guests only, in common areas, during posted visiting hours, signed in with the house manager. No guests in bedrooms and no overnight guests.

An example rhythm, not a fixed schedule. Times vary with work and program commitments.
Mornings
Wake-up, room check, and out the door to work, school, or an outpatient program. Coffee and breakfast are on you — the kitchen opens early.
Afternoons
Work, appointments, job searching, or errands. Chores are completed before evening.
Evenings
Dinner, meetings off-site, sponsor calls, and time in the common areas. Sign in before curfew.
Weekly
One mandatory house meeting, a room and common-area walkthrough, chore rotation, and a check-in with the house manager.
