Moving in

A short, honest process. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.

Who the house is for

Requirements

  • Adults 18 and over
  • A period of documented sobriety before move-in — confirm the minimum
  • Able to live independently and manage daily living without personal care assistance
  • Medically stable and not in need of detoxification or 24-hour medical supervision
  • Willing to sign and follow the resident handbook and residency agreement
  • Able to pay program fees and the deposit, or have a confirmed third-party payer

We are a recovery residence, not a treatment facility. If someone needs detox, inpatient care, or medical supervision, that has to come first. We're happy to help you figure out where to call.

We answer every inquiry personally, usually the same day.

The process

From first call to first night

1

First conversation

Call the house or send the form. We'll ask about your recovery history, current treatment, work situation, and what you're looking for.

2

Intake assessment

A structured intake covering substance use history, medications, medical and mental health needs, emergency contacts, income, and house fit.

3

Handbook review and agreement

We go through house standards together, answer questions, and sign the residency agreement. Nothing is a surprise later.

4

Deposit and first payment

The deposit and first period's fee are due before move-in. Receipts are issued for every payment.

5

Move-in day

Belongings are checked in, you meet the house manager and residents, and you get your chore assignment and first-week schedule.

Fees

What it costs

The monthly program fee covers housing, utilities, Wi-Fi, laundry, shared household supplies, and house management. Residents cover their own food, personal items, transportation, and any treatment or medical care.

Program fee

$0,000 per month, due on the 1st

Move-in fee

$000 one time

Security deposit

$000, accounted for within 21 days of move-out

Late fee

The greater of $150 or 10% of the amount owed

Program fees are not covered by insurance. Sober living is housing, not a billable treatment service. Confirm the fee figures and the refund/proration policy against Handbook Section 15.

Move-in

What to bring

  • Photo identification and insurance card, if you have one
  • All current prescriptions in original, labeled pharmacy containers
  • Clothing for two weeks and personal toiletries
  • Phone and charger
  • Contact information for your sponsor, treatment provider, and emergency contact
  • First payment and deposit
  • A smartphone that can run the house app with location sharing enabled

Two things worth knowing before you apply: residents install a house app and keep location sharing on, and common areas are recorded. Both are covered in the handbook and acknowledged in writing at intake.

Leave at home

  • Alcohol and any non-prescribed substance
  • Products containing alcohol, including mouthwash and some cold medicines
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Candles, incense, or anything with an open flame
  • Pets. Service animals and emotional support animals are handled separately as a reasonable accommodation under fair housing law — ask us before move-in
